NDIS Plan Analyser
Your NDIS plan is split into budgets that each work differently. Tap each one below for a plain-English breakdown of what’s inside and what it can pay for - in English, with help in Dari any time.
Core Supports - The most flexible part of your plan
Core is the everyday budget most participants use most. It's flexible - in most plans you can move funding between Core categories as your needs change.
Usually inside this budget:
- Assistance with Daily Life - personal care, routines (item group 0107)
- Assistance with Social & Community Participation (item group 0125)
- Household tasks (item 01_020_0120_1_1)
- Transport & travel
- Consumables - low-cost everyday items
What TrueSide can do here: This is where TrueSide works. Daily living, community participation, household tasks and transport all sit here - charged at or below the NDIS price limits.
Capacity Building - Funding to build skills and independence
Capacity Building is usually locked to specific categories - you generally can't move money between them like you can with Core. It funds things that grow your independence over time.
Usually inside this budget:
- Support Coordination
- Improved Daily Living - therapy (OT, physio, speech, psychology)
- Improved Health & Wellbeing
- Finding & Keeping a Job
- Improved Relationships
What TrueSide can do here: TrueSide focuses on Core supports, so most Capacity Building (like therapy or support coordination) is delivered by other providers. We're happy to work alongside your coordinator and therapists.
Capital Supports - Higher-cost items and housing
Capital is the most tightly controlled budget - funding is stated for specific approved items and can't be spent on anything else.
Usually inside this budget:
- Assistive Technology (equipment, devices)
- Home modifications
- Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)
- Vehicle modifications
What TrueSide can do here: Capital supports sit outside TrueSide's scope. If your plan includes them, we'll point you toward the right specialist providers.

About the plan analyser
Do I upload my plan here?
Not on this page - your plan is private, so we don't ask you to upload it to a website. The best plain-English breakdown of your actual plan happens in person: bring it to a free meet & greet and we'll go through it line by line, in English or Dari.
What are the three budget types?
Core Supports (flexible everyday help), Capacity Building (skills and independence, locked by category), and Capital Supports (equipment, AT and housing, stated for specific items).
How do I know what I can spend where?
Your plan lists your budgets and any 'stated' items. Core is usually flexible; Capacity Building and Capital are more restricted. If it's confusing, that's normal - we'll help you read it.
One call. One worker. No run-around.
Looking for support, helping a loved one, or referring a participant? The meet & greet is free, at your home, with no obligation either way.
